Hot Springs is 30mins north from the cabin. Definitely worth the visit. This short hiking trail ‘Lover’s Leap’ takes you along the French Broad river and when you reach the top there is an amazing mountain river view.

It is an hour drive to Brevard but if you haven’t seen a waterfall before this is the easiest one to get to. You can drive right to it, park on the side of the road and you can see it from the road or you can walk down to the base area. Very beautiful.

U.S. 276It is an hour drive to Brevard but if you haven’t seen a waterfall before this is the easiest one to get to. You can drive right to it, park on the side of the road and you can see it from the road or you can walk down to the base area. Very beautiful.

Great place to visit in the warmer months so you can swim in the water. The water is very cold! You could spend all day here, sit on the rocks by the water, take a picnic.
Recommend taking water shoes with you as rocks can be slippery.

We booked and signed waivers online which made a fast check-in.
We had never been axe throwing before. We had some instruction beforehand and was easy once they showed you how to stick it.
