Activities for the whole family at Ft. Benning
Bike rentals and trails that run throughout Columbus and can either end or start at Ft. Benning into the historic district to downtown Columbus, why stop there when the trail will take you right in front of Peachtree mall.
We have a lot of family members visiting for graduation day. Beautiful Museum that is free of charge but donations are accepted. I am a military brat and understand the sacrifices not only the men and women in uniform have to make but also the spouses and children who also go through a lot having to travel or not see the parent for weeks, months, to a year is unbelievably hard. Ft. Benning host concerts, sporting events, Parties for most holidays and so much more!

Amazing Museum with life-like soldiers shows what the war was like during that era, what types of weapons were used, uniforms that were worn and casualty count, metals have given out also. IMAX Theater, food station, and names of the fallen.

There are a few of these rental shops for bikes for the long 22 plus mile-long trail that ends or you can start at Ft. Benning riding along the Chattahoochee river riding through areas such as oxbow meadows, a couple of shops for drinks or even at gas stations once you get out of Ft. Benning. Few miles away is the Riverwalk downtown. Easy ride for all ages and the view is great. All vehicles must come to a stop at road crossing. There are a couple of dozen starting points even one across from Peachtree mall.

Extreme exercise for all ages keeps kids happy and then very tired making life easier on mom and dad. Fun, exercise, and food. Hours are from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm Tues through Sunday and weekends vary depending on events going on.
If you are traveling with children who have been sitting in the vehicle for the past 8 hours and are restless, bored, and need some good ole heart-pumping exercise that will wear them out this is it. I promise after an hour of nonstop jumping they will sleep like babies and make life easier on you.!

The mall is convenient only 2 miles away, has everything you and your family needs in 1 location if you like being in an area you know is almost impossible for you to get lost and do not like to stray far away from home this is it. Shopping, AMC movie theater, restaurants, an indoor arcade, massage chairs and after get a mani and a Pedi to feel even better. The famous Burger King with the railway built-in it with an indoor playground is great if you are on a budget.

Food scene
Love grocery shopping at Publix their fruits and vegetables always seem to be fresh compared to other grocery stores, variety of different ethnic food. I love eating at home and cooking for myself I guess I love my cooking plus I can make extra for friend and family.
I love Korean Food I was raised on it and lived my childhood life in Seoul, South Korea. Probably the healthiest Asian food out of all Asia (that's my opinion) could be wrong.

This is a local favorite!! Excellent food, great atmosphere their catfish is to die for very best in town. What is even better it is just a few blocks down the road from here the apartment!! Take a left when you leave the complex look onto your right and there it is EZELL'S!

Manchester Square shopping center has 2 bargain store Ollies, Dirt cheap, and Dollar General. Planet Fitness is next to Dirt Cheap, and a Food depot for grocery shopping and if you have the time you can get a Mani and a Pedi in the Nail salon next to Food Depot.
The name itself will get you in the door to see what it about. You can find some real bargains in this store sometimes you will find some excellent finds. Especially for teachers, I noticed a lot of school supplies, home decor, and clothing.
