This is an unusual spot. A tiny ‘secret’ bar/restaurant located at the back of a grocery store (of all places) that just happens to sell some of the best sandwiches you’ll ever have! Just a 5 minute walk away. Personal recommendation: The hot chicken sandwich

Trader Joe’s is a beloved NYC grocery chain due to their cheap prices (most products are an in-house brand) and high quality foods. This one is a little hike (about a 15 min walk, although you can also take the B38 bus just around the corner) - but if deals are your thing, it’s worth the trip!

This is a cheap convenience store that’s a 3 minute walk away. They sell snacks, drinks, packaged foods, cleaning & household supplies. Due to its close location, it’s a very handy spot for grabbing things quickly and also after hours (this one closes at 12:30am)
