A ten minute walk from the house you can have a meal in the restaurant or sit in the bar. They show sports events most days and provide free Scotch Pies at half time. The Torrance also has a wooden decked beer garden for the rare sunny Scottish summer day.

Known affectionately to the Locals, 'The Monty' is a quiet and cosy pub during the week. During the weekend it becomes a lively social hub, the nautical themed upstairs is opened and is a great place to spend your evening. A 7 minute walk from the house, it is our favourite pub in East Kilbride.

A lovely Italian restaurant, with two locations in the village and the shopping centre. Zucca has a range of items on its menu from pizza, pasta, meat and fish over their lunch and dinner menus.

Burger Station is a great spot for either lunch or dinner. The food is very reasonably priced with all burger being £5 Monday-Thursday. located in The Village it is very close to the house and is close to pubs for a drink afterwards.

A 20 minute walk from the house, Calderglen is a fantastic place to spend an afternoon if the weather is nice. It is very family friendly, with a small zoo and a large play park. There are places to take a barbecue and a cafe which sells food, drinks and ice cream. If you enjoy walking, there are many different scenic country trails that are easy to navigate.
