Parks & Nature
A nice stroll from here, about five minutes takes you through neighborhoods to a wide open field and playground for little kids. The town pool is located here and open during summer . Families love to throw the frisbee or kick a ball around with gorgeous views of Mt Sopris and the surrounding hillsides.

This is a steep trail that packs a punch for a quick workout in nature without too many other hikers around. It takes 1 1/2 hrs to get to the top pullout to the left where there are beautiful views of the valley but if you want a longer hike/trailrun, it keeps going and flattens out to take you all the way to Aspen.
