This is a catalan-style restaurant. We love to come and eat grilled veggies and the artichoke with ham. If it is in season, try the calcots, they are amazing!

Madrid Diferente
Some cool places in Madrid that aren't usually on the classical sightseeing list.
A short metro ride away, Matadero was the city of Madrid's slaughterhouse (you read that right) up until about the 1920's, when it was slowly renovated to include restaurants and public spaces. Several festivals/markets take place here monthly.

This building housed a large movie theatre before it was renovated into a cocktail/tapas/dinner concept. On the weekends there is a dj spinning background music, and just having a drink is worth it to see the stunning interior, at any hour of the day.
