Fort Loudoun is a reconstructed fort from the French and Indian War, it is free to visit. Has several miles of hiking trails, kayak rentals and picnic areas. I love going here for a nice quiet walk. I am only about a 10 min drive away.

I haven't hiked the whole trail of Wildcat Pointe, but if you enjoy hiking here is a spot real close by, it's only about 5 or fewer minutes drive from my place.

This is a great waterfall to see, no hike is required, you just drive there and park. The river runs right under the bridge that you look at the falls from.
