My favorite places eat nearby
There's plenty of good places to eat around, both close by the house and of course in the city of Aarhus. Here are a few recommendations!
This is really a great place! It's a really "hyggelig" and quite large farm shop with bread, meat, cake, etc all home organic grown. They also have a great restaurant which serves dinner and brunches during the weekend. Definitely worth a visit and just 10-12 mins away in a car.

This Inn with a really great restaurant is just 2km away. Good hearty food with especially lots of good seafood dishes as it's located right on the water. They also have a little food-shed outside where they serve "fiskefrikadeller" (fish meat balls) in open face sandwiches. Good stuff!

Another nice little Inn in the town of Malling. Not too expensive, but good food and they have a good daily take-away dish which is perfect for your arrival day :-)

Our house is located very centrally for activities, attractions and excursions in the east-Jutland area. Here are a few examples of things to do - and there's lots more!
Truly great historical museum located just 10 mins away from the house. Children usually love the place too! The architecture of the place is really special too. Have a look at their webpage - I'm sure you'll not be disappointed by a visit to this place.

World famous Legoland resort. It's slightly more than an hours drive away, but it's worth it for your kids! It's basically everything LEGO with lots of rollercoaster rides and other activities. You can easily spend a full day there - but go when the weather is good as you'll be outside most of the time :-)
(And bring a packed lunch if you don't want to pay for the overpriced food in the park)
