When - Saturdays, 12 noon - 6pm ONLY if you haven’t figured out Beavertown are one of the best breweries in the UK by now, there is little hope for you….. They open up their brewery on Saturdays 2pm – 6pm for the masses. It is located in Tottenham, but a short walk from Tottenham Hale tube station on the Victoria line, so is easier to get to than you might expect. The tap room part is in the main brewery building and offers a selection of up to 12 taps of (mostly) Beavertown beers. Expect the standard range and a decent amount of seasonals/specials available in 1/3 pints and above.

One of my favourite pubs. Lovely interior and exterior, the Salisbusy Hotel is a gorgeous renovated Victorian pub, with original features that hold their charm. It sits on a corner of Green Lanes, halfway between Manor House and Turnpike Lane. Bus 341 from Philip Lane only 15 min from home.
Small selection of Belgian and German beers plus some Czech lagers on tap. Overall very surprised by the quality of beer. Theres also Guiness and some ciders

It sits on a corner of Green Lanes, halfway between Manor House and Turnpike Lane. Bus 341 from Philip Lane only 15 min from home.

The ornamental Italian Gardens located at the heart of the Park, made up of rose beds and annual bedding, are a favourite with park users. The nearby tennis courts, hard ball area and bowling green are set amongst beautiful trees and landscaped gardens. Basketball, Kickabout Area, Playground, Tennis, Football. The Downhills Park Café (external link) lies to the east of the park near the tennis courts. This is a great place to stop for a coffee and a nibble. The Café is a social enterprise that supports adults with learning disabilities into employment.

Down Lane Park is situated between two roads - Park View Road and Ashley Road - near to Tottenham Hale. It is used regularly by local residents and sports groups, and is an attractive cut through for commuters using Tottenham Hale Station.
