Go early, because the wait can get really long here. Everything is super fresh and delicious. Very homegrown vibe, plus they grow some of their own produce. Bustling and lively!

Some of the best vegetarian food I've ever had (I'm not a vegetarian btw). Awesome housemade elixirs too that can be made into a cocktail with a shot of vodka. Very friendly & cool decor too.

This is a fun, family-friendly brewery has huge covered patio where they show movies & have games. All the food is great; step above typical pizza joints. Also can order hops to dunk in your beer.

This is the closest brewery within walking distance to our house--about .5 miles away. They have really good food, are dog friendly and play live music on most nights.

One of our favorite breweries. They have really inventive beers here, so we always get a flight. Indoor/outdoor seating, fun atmosphere and food from Salt & Smoke located outside at the back of the building.

We love this space with its high ceilings and open floor plan. Skip their flagship beers that are sold in cans everywhere and go for small batch, only-at-the-brewery beers.

This section of the Blue Ridge Parkway is steepest & has tons of overlook stops along the way to Skinny Dip Falls. Really cool, small waterfall for exploring or swimming. Hike is pretty challenging.
