One of the best BBQ spots ever! About a 15 minute drive over the CT border, this place truly stands out from the crowd. Well worth the drive for their Ribs, wings, and other great BBQ.

Very solid pizza and pasta just a few minutes into town, this place is known for huge portions and very inexpensive. Very casual and low key. Best part is they also delivery to the house if you don't have a car!

This great state park boasts many miles of hiking trails and is practically adjacent to our property. The 24 acre lake can be reached after about 45 min to 1 hr of hiking. Though mostly uphill, the hike is not difficult and the scenery is great.

380 Mooney Hill RdThis great state park boasts many miles of hiking trails and is practically adjacent to our property. The 24 acre lake can be reached after about 45 min to 1 hr of hiking. Though mostly uphill, the hike is not difficult and the scenery is great.
Entertainment & Activities
Though relatively small in size, this ski area is actually the closest to NYC and has trails for both beginners and more experienced skiers. Great for a few hours (or more) of outdoor entertainment. Paintball is available at the same location during the Spring and Summer months.
