This is also placed in the centre of Montcuq which has so much charm. You sit under a chestnut tree and eat wonderful food. Sometimes you can get delicious curry here too. It comes highly recommended.

I think this is the best restaurant in Cahors. God value for money but of course it is on the slightly more expensive side. Classy and good service.

Chateau Mercués is beautifully situated above the river Lot on a cliff. You can take the most romantic sundowner here overlooking the river. Excellent place but pricey. AN evening never to forget!

Excellent qualité prix here. Lovely cooking. Well run. Good service. You are in the heart of the vineyards where all the best wine is made. Well worth a visit. I strongly recommend it.

This is an iconic cave in that it is original and not a copy. It is forty minutes drive from Lario Grange maybe fifty. There are beautiful paintings inside it that date back some 25,000 years and some beautiful geological features like huge discs of calcite made by a high pressure of water squeezing through the tiniest crack. It is so majestic and it has not been tackified by tourism. The Célé valley which is nearby has excellent canoeing kayaking for families and this is highly recommended. The river is very shallow. The surroundings are stunning.
