The Refuge actually covers most of the Kenai Peninsula (5 million acres) and has great trails, campgrounds, fishing, boating, and anything nature you can imagine. The visitor center is in Soldotna - start there and journey on!!

World famous because it is one of the few wild and scenic rivers left in the US with all 5 salmon species running naturally. Take a float trip, wade in and fish, hike along the shores, enjoy all it has to offer. just don't fall in, it's only 40 degrees in the summer!
