Nishio, know as « Matcha City » is a great place for tea lovers. Aiya (あいや), is a beautiful teahouse with a shop where you can buy tea and different matcha sweats & biscuits. With any purchase you get a free cup of matcha to drink in this nice place. Shokoso Garden (尚古荘) is a traditional Japanese style garden. Enjoy a walk in this wonderful scenery, visit the tea ceremony room, the guest hall and the small arbor with beautiful views of the garden. Open: 9am to 7pm. Admission: Free. Direction: By car
