They have a delightful outdoor patio and the cafe is owned by the sweetest French woman. It is an order-at-the-counter place that is one of the most reasonably priced places to eat in the area. My favorite is the spinach quiche, which comes with a delicious salad. I buy their dressing in their little french goods store, it's so good! It's very laid back, and they also have delicious coffees. It's a great place to stop at on the way to the beach.

This is a great spot that is a short walk from my place. Their food and coffee drinks are very yummy, and it's a great Venice scene complete with outdoor patio. It can be a little on the pricier side, but is a great place to eat, especially for lunch.

They have a motorcycle shop with books, gear and collectibles connected to the cafe, and often have little events there, too. You can pickup a cool hat or t-shirt and rep your motorcycle status.

If you want a nice dinner at one of the best spots in Venice, owned by a local chef, with farm-to-table ingredients, this is the spot! I love Gjelina. The restaurant is gorgeous, the food is excellent, and there is something for everyone here, including vegans. Even their veggie dishes are excellent. Think: small plates, wood fired pizzas, and dishes you can't find anywhere else.

I am a fan of their Lychee Martini and sitting at their window to people watch along Abbot Kinney.
This restaurant is amazing! I highly recommend for dinner of brunch. It's a beautiful restaurant inside: think exposed brick and gas lights. It's a little pricey, but their take on traditional Italian classics is impeccable.

This is a great place for a date night. It's a small little yellow house that they converted into an intimate dining space serving handmade pastas and creations like "Home-Made Red Beet Tagliolini Pasta in a Marsala Quail Ragú served on a bed of Taleggio Cheese Fondue." They also have great steaks, and a great wine list. The setting is very romantic and the service is always excellent.

Upstairs features a pool table and lounge areas. It can get packed on the weekends, so I advise getting there on the earlier side (before 10p).

You can eat at The Whaler, but I consider it more of a bar. It's a great place to post up on their deck and watch the sunset with a few cocktails and appetizers. It's hands down the best place to watch the sunset in Venice. They sometimes have live music or DJs downstairs late night, as well. It's a true locals scene and a Venice institution.
