Food Scene
The whole of this street is filled with establishments selling Pintxos and Tapas, predominantly Basque in style (the street is known in the local English press as Tapas Alley), but also some more formal food. It is very touristy, but very atmospheric, and a fantastic place to order by pointing - either at what's laid out on the bar, or on someone else's plate.

Great flavours from Eastern Europe, with many dishes made to share, so good for groups. The lounge is run by our former Airbnb guests, with fabulous cocktails from a prize-winning barista as either an aperitif or a digestif - or both

Good flavours and attentive, friendly service, next to the beach. There is always a bonus tapa when you start with a drink, but beware, these appetisers work, you'll be hungry for more.

Situated next to the beach, great for breakfast or brunch. A tostada with tomato (garnish with salt and oil) - "pa tomaquet" - is a cheap, delicious, and filling way to start the day.

A thirty minute drive, much visited but spectacular fortified village, surprisingly reasonable shopping and reasonable eats.

The old town, on top of the hill, is beautiful winter and summer, with fantastic views of sea and mountains (including the Peñon d'Ifach, or any other spelling). If you don't have a car, get there by tram from cc La Marina.
