Fager's has everything from causal to fine dining. After dinner hours they have live bands and dancing, quite fun. It is kid friendly during the day for dinner. A really fun thing to do I to go there for sunset. They play the 1812 Overture timed to crescendo exactly at sunset. If you haven't done this go on a clear evening. You will not be disappointed.

A fine place for breakfast. The Generals Kitchen has been attracting fans for years. They moved this larger, more modern facility a few years ago but kept the great food for which they are known.

This is a small place with really good food and well worth the drive for a nice meal. You need not dress up for a visit to Blacksmith's. It is comfortable and friendly, a little eclectic and has an changing menu of culinary delights.

Known for their wine selection (hence the name) they have good food and a very nice wine selection. One side is the restaurant while the other is a small bar housed in a wine and beer shop. Sounds odd but the bar has a really good vibe and is a great place to have a glass or two of wine.

During the day you can lounge around in the bay on rafts or sit on their beach and enjoy adult beverages. At night it is a huge club. Walk there, it is only a few blocks, because parking can be a challenge.

Assateague Island was separated from Ocean City during the hurricane of 1933 when what is now the Ocean City Inlet was formed. The island remains undeveloped and is a respite for visitors looking for a quiet spot on a beach. There is a fun visitors center to explore just before you cross the bridge onto the island. There are also three hiking trails that explore the three zones of the island. And of course, there are the famous wild ponies roaming the island that are always a joy to see. If you have a four wheel drive vehicle you can obtain a pass to drive to remote parts of the beach (see the Assateague Island website for details).
