We LOVE the Country Store in Petersham. It is a 200 year old general store with New England charm beautifully decorated with hand crafted, artisan wares, organic foods & beverages. The offerings on their menu are tasty and locally sourced. We enjoy going there for a breakfast burrito, pastries, a cup of coffee and to buy groceries and gifts. It is the social hub of this beautiful central mass area. A real gem.

We love going to Rose 32 bakery to treat ourselves to breakfast or a baked goods. A little bit of the San Francisco bay area right in Hardwick. They make everything there on the premises from mouthwatering croissants, cakes, brownies, sandwiches. It is always busy and has a friendly atmosphere. There is a beautiful, large table where people gather communally or you can sit at a smaller table. When the weather is nice, you can sit outside.
