This is not really a restaurant more of a two in-one dive bar with a food truck in the back yard! Great Mexican fare is served in the backyard and frozen margaritas are available at the bar. Start here for happy hour and a snack before dancing next door at C'mon Everybody.

A bit more of a walk, but the second best cuban restaurant in the area with killer Pernil and empanadas, full bar, vibrant atmosphere and friendly staff.

Though very cool with great food as well as a selection of European chocolate bars I don't usually go to Black Swan too often as it is more like a sports bar up front and can be quite rowdy. However, the dining area in back is spacious decorated in dark woods with tremendously high ceilings and the restaurant is close to the G train. If you need to catch the game this is a good place to do so with a crowd, or enjoy an exuberant dinner in the back.

However, the dining area in back is spacious decorated in dark woods with tremendously high ceilings and the restaurant is close to the G train. If you need to catch the game this is a good place to do so with a crowd, or enjoy an exuberant dinner in the back.

If you're hungry for a restaurant and bar with beautiful atmosphere but is also casual and not pretentious this is a great small menu place on the same block as Peaches Hothouse, boutiques and more. The wax chandelier is a site to behold.

A taste of Senegal in Brooklyn, right up the street. Delicious West African flair serving up the Senegalese national dish called Tiebou Jeun (baked fish, joloff rice, and veggies). What makes, Joloff's dish so special is the way the rice is cooked. It is a "broken" rice, with a jasmin flavor, cooked into a deep tomato sauce. This is what we call the "joloff" rice, which is also the specialty of the house. All of their dishes are made daily upon request and with tremendous love. Do yourself a favor and try something unique.
