The perfect place to sit and relax with a glass of wine! There is also a photographic studio and luxury clothing shop on the property.

This place has all the necessary ingredients to be a firm favorite – a quiet garden setting both locations, great coffee, the city's best salad bar and a commitment to healthy eating. My only complaint? It doesn't open for dinner.

Owners of this enchanting place are a couple of Italians in Kenya since 1975, Pino Checchini and Leonarda Langiano, who decided a few years ago to transform stables and barns into a kitchen, rustic rooms, bar and a patio of a real country club.

Owners of this enchanting place are a couple of Italians in Kenya since 1975, Pino Checchini and Leonarda Langiano, who decided a few years ago to transform stables and barns into a kitchen, rustic rooms, bar and a patio of a real country club.

Entertainment & Activities
The center is one of Nairobi's most popular attractions, and deservedly so. After entering at 11am, visitors are escorted to a small viewing area centred on a muddy watering hole. A few moments later the animal handlers come in alongside a dozen or so baby elephants. You can go on their website and adopt your own elephant for $50 which means you can go for a much more private viewing at 5.00pm – well worth it!

She left Kenya after a series of personal tragedies, but the lovely colonial house she lived in has been preserved as a museum. The museum is set in expansive gardens, and is an interesting place to wander around. Guides (non-mandatory, but useful) are included in the admission fee, but they do expect a tip.

You will need your own car to drive around or you can organize a tour through a local company. Robert the taxi driver can arrange a car and driver to take you to the park. Early mornings and late afternoon are best for game viewing.
