Upscale burger place, but the BEST burgers I seriously believe. Central bar with table seating surrounding, great during the day or drinks at night too.

Great local place that's been here forever. Never seems to be a wait, not expensive but still nice and also casual. Walking distance down 12th St 3 blocks, left on Orange St and follow until street curves to the left, and it's on your opposite side of Main.

Main Street and PCH across from the Pier (the map is a bit off). Walk along the beach to the Pier thats visible from the home as soon as you step on to PCH, just look to you left to find it.

A great and well renowned bird ecological reserve. Lots of flat surfaces to walk easily through the backwaters that boarder the Pacific. Best at sundown.

Great fenced reserve to see indigenous plants to Southern California. Have occasionally caught glimpses of members of two coyote packs that live here. Hours are limited that they are open because its free and operates off of volunteers mostly I believe.

My favorite coastal dive site. Great for snorkeling and free diving. A must for anyone who is comfortable diving. Small private beach with sand or rock entry to the reef. The reef drops off abruptly into maybe 60 feet of water with large kelp forests. Rays, Garibaldi, Octopus, morays and small leopard sharks. Its truly amazing. Every time I go here its a completely different dive.
