We love this little place for lunch out on the cool patio. Good prices, good food, Casual! Also, "La Unico" down the street offers a dine in Mexican restaurant and bar, We go to the outdoor dining, but the larger restaurant east on Main Street is good too for dinner.

I love this town, great north county San Diego Beaches. Carlsbad is a great place to take a tour of the flower farms along its coast. Takes about 2 hours to get to Carlsbad from Lake Elsinore.

A beautiful tram way up to the top of Mount San Jacinto outside of Palm Springs. An hour plus ride from here but well worth the excursion. Take a picnic lunch with you are have lunch up on the mountain. Or, go for a hike on one of the various hiking trails at the top. One of our favorite things to do! Open all year long. Check days of the week to be sure!
