Popular with monkeys as much as people, the caves are always a colourful (some might say joyfully tacky) place to visit, and never more so than in late January or early February when hundreds of thousands of pilgrims converge during the three-day Thaipusam festival. Hitch an Uber/Grab for a 20-25 minute ride to get there.
