This is one of the best restaurants in LA, let alone in Manhattan Beach. The food is considered to be "Fusion"--a mix of Asian, Latin and American food. Reservations recommended.

MB Post is a great restaurant. They have a lot of small plates and excellent quality food. Reservations recommended. It is fun to sit at the bar in the back too, which doesn't require reservations.

Some of the best seafood that you will ever have. You need a reservation as this restaurant only has a few tables (I think it seats 27?). The bar is first come, first serve, but only has 4 seats. It is pricey, but the quality is the best!

Great place to walk to that has several restaurants, a boutique hotel and shops. On Tuesday afternoons, there is a farmers market on the street at the northside of Metlox plaza from noon to 4PM.

Parks & Nature
Abalone Cove is about 1/2 hour from our cottage. Most of the beach/ocean photographs in the cottage were taken at Abalone Cove. There are tidepools with starfish, sea anemone , see urchins, seals. It is just beautiful and a relatively easy hike.
