“History Abounds in this wonderful park. This time,, we did the Sterling Lake Loop. From the rich history of the native people of this area dating back thousands of years, to the important historical furnace where US History was changed forever!! Beautiful trail around Sterling Lake. Cold, crisp day, 16 degrees, 4 mile loop. Yes, it is rated easy because it is not terribly hard, but, with heavy clothes on for winter, it is definitely a long hike!” — T

Unique Experiences

“I've been coming here for years and it's always a great experience. Very relaxing atmosphere and a great view and live music on weekends. The food is good. The ciders are all great- especially the rose and mead. Be aware the road to get here is a gravel road with rocks for about a quarter mile, stop depending on the car you have it could be rough on your tires. Plenty of parking even when it gets busy.” — DL

“First time visiting and had so much fun during the Cash and Country Music Fest. We registered online which made everything easy. Parking was organized and plentiful. The wine, cider, snd spirit tastings were held under the tent or you could take them in a convenient tasting kit to go. My husband loved the wine and I really enjoyed the ciders. The food was delicious and the pizza exceeded my expectations. A fun experience that I would definitely recommend!” — KG

“What an amazing ice cream place with a beautiful view. The area is very pretty and extremely out of the way, but is worth the trip just to eat ice cream. Judging by all the people coming up here for ice cream and then leaving, it just that good. I heard there lines at times, but luckily I was here early. I got Calf Traks and Cookie Dough, the ice cream is extremely smooth and has great texture. Very good ingredients, which is expected when they make it themselves from their own nearby farm. So authenic and fresh ice cream~ The waffle is also homemade is it is very good, worth every penny! Extremely affordable as well, compared to NYC. The size is huge.” — KO

“This is one of my favorite places for date night with my better half. This week’s special had a vegan option (jack fruit tacos) that blew my mind. I also had the tuna sashimi that hit the spot. My favorite drink is the blood orange jalapeño margarita and if your going to brunch, it’s only right to start off with a “swifty” shot. I have been to this restaurant plenty of times and have recommended this place to family and friends. They are never disappointed and always want to go back whenever they’re in town.” — JP

The restaurant atmosphere is industrial and modern. We sat outside on there sizable patio to eat. The entire patio is fenced in with umbrellas to shade the tables and string lights to light the patio at night. We ordered the chicken sate, and Vietnamese rolled for appetizers which were both delicious. For dinner the waitress recommended the Pad Tai drunken noodle which I got with shrimp and scallops. The noodles had a nice chili spice to them. The shrimp and scallops were cooked to perfection, nice and tender. I also ordered the Warick Tai roll which were sizable, nicely presented and delicious. For desert I had the taro ice cream which was served in a bowl with whipped cream and a cherry. Everything we had was presented well witha good portion and great taste. The restaurant had a full bar if your looking for a cocktail to go with dinner. Overall I would definitely go back! — MDC

We recently had a beautiful birthday celebration in the private room upstairs and the service was outstanding! Everyone should go experience this beautiful, historic restaurant. Simply put: the best coffee I've ever had. I've circumnavigated the globe and had coffee every which where, but YOU don't have to. Dave & Yolanda source all their beans from all over the world, roast them on site, and make a truly amazing product. Their bags of coffee are now my standard gift whenever I visit someone, and I always have some of their Bali Blue (my fave!) in my hot beverage cabinet for guests. I can't say enough good things about them! — AC
