Use Side Streets
If you can, avoid Big Bear Blvd. Use side streets during busy times. Make sure you come up HWY 38. It puts you on the correct side of the lake, where the home is, and you will avoid a ton of traffic.

Bring chains! Do not risk being turned around. If R3 conditions are put in effect ALL cars, even 4x4 & AWD, will be required to put on chains. Do NOT risk being turned around. Do NOT risk sliding out. Do NOT think, "I can make it", no...no you can't.
