A must see! Another of Geneva’s historic as well as lovely places to visit. They have 2 restaurants..the more casual and contemporary Stonecutters - great for lunch or a relaxing cocktail on the patio (with the very inviting fire pit) or the more formal restaurant- Edgars Steak House - a great way to enjoy the beautiful and historic ambiance of the circa 1885 “castle”. Belhurst Castle is a former private residence on the shores of Seneca Lake in Geneva, New York. It was designed by architects Fuller & Wheeler and built between 1885 and 1889. The three-story, nine bay wide Romanesque Revival style mansion is constructed of Medina sandstone.

One of the most interesting and beautiful as well as scenic spots in the Finger Lakes! Make reservations for upscale dining. Nester House, also known as Geneva-on-the-Lake, is a historic home located at Geneva in Ontario County, New York, USA. The Renaissance Revival building's design is based upon the Villa Lancellotti, a 16th-century suburban villa in the village of Frascati near Rome. It was built in 1911 and is a large three story, "U" shaped villa, built of brick and concrete block and coated in stucco. In 1949, the Capuchin Order acquired the property and operated the Immaculate Heart of Mary Seminary on the property. In 1973, the Capuchins sold the property and the house and its 1949 additions were later converted into 30 apartments.[2] It is now operated as a resort. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.[1]

Bon Ami: If you love French food, music, ambiance and good service, you may want to take a short 20 minute drive to Canandaigua. (West on Rt. 5&20 then right on Main St. (Rt. 332) down a couple blocks in their downtown.) food is mostly country French..and bread is to die for! Reservations recommended. Oh yes..try the pomegranate martini or choose from their fine wine list😉
