Our favorite. Excellent breakfast/lunch cafe with fresh pastries, excellent coffee and always art on the wall! It is an entirely vegetarian cafe with plenty of vegan meals and pastries as well.

The establishment our family has eaten at the longest. Best tofu scramble around. Also, old school breakfast cafe with things like bacon and eggs...for those who still eat that sort of thing. 5-7 minute drive from the studio.

Seward Park is one of Seattle's gems. A 2.5 mile walk around the perimeter gives the walker/runner a view of Seattle, Mercer Island and Mt Rainier. There's a great beach, a large kids play area, a pottery studio, a Nature Conservancy office and many hidden, fun paths to be explored up and through the inside of the Park. Several times a year there are 5k and 10k runs.
