Tate Liverpool is one of the most visited art galleries outside of London, which prides itself from its rapidly evolving collections and special exhibitions of British and international modern and contemporary art. Past featured artists include Gustav Klimt, Pablo Picasso, Andy Warhol and Claude Monet! With free admission,​ a visit is definitely worthwhile!
The mythical liver bird is the symbol of the city and is now almost inseparable in the public mind with Liverpool Football Club. The two most famous liver birds (named Bella and Bertie) sit atop the Royal Liver Building. The local legend has it that the birds watch over both the sea. It is also said that the birds face away from each other​ because if they were to fly away and mate the city would cease to exist.

In particular, Cain's brewery village is a must-see! It's filled with unique bars (each with its own quirky character), vintage shops, and, even if you're poping by just for a quick bite, the Baltic Food Market hosts traders from some of the best businesses around the city!

The Rococo house dates back to 1882 and it provides a cosy atmosphere to relax for lunch or breakfast. Although this place is easy to miss as the storefront​ is only a door with narrow stairs leading up to the coffee house, this place is definitely worth finding!
