When friends visit from California and Washington State, we always take them to Green Tea Sushi just to watch their surprise at experiencing such a good sushi restaurant in the mountains of North Carolina. "It's as good as home!" they always says. As you may know, California and Washington states have some of the best sushi in the country. And we do too!

The owner of this restaurant had the right idea: Indian street food that's safe to eat! Some of my favorite dishes are the mango chaat and the fried okra, which tastes nothing like one would imagine, and is oh, so delicious!

Absolutely gorgeous views, almost 360 degrees worth at the top! An easy to moderate hike of about 3 miles. Picnicking at the top, especially if there is cloud action in the sky, is unforgettable. The vastness of the landscape is breathtaking.
