It's got to be one of the best viewpoints over the Tamar River and beyond! The viewing platform is set right on the cliff edge with the escarpment falling away to the river 140mt below. The signage tells the story of Mathew Brady the bushranger who irritated the Government in his exploits while winning the hearts of the female colonists.

Only a 30 minute drive from Launceston and well worth your time to enjoy a tranquil stroll through this remnant patch of rainforest. Surrounded by towering ferns, streams and bridges the walkway will take you about an hour to complete. You'll discover at least four varieties of ferns and plenty of Tasmanian wildlife. You'll also discover Matthew Brady and his bushrangers hideout!

The most iconic markets in all of Tasmania has to be the Evandale Markets. Held every Sunday morning, with an amazing variety of stalls, antiques, food, entertainment and a general air of relaxation. Evandale itself is certainly worth a visit. Being a heritage listed town with many of the buildings in original Georgian condition and a relatively untouched streetscape transporting you back in time!
