One of our favorite hikes in Tromsø. To get to the start of the hike you have to drive for 35 minutes to vasstrand. When you get to the top you will understand why we like this mountain so much! You have a wonderful view over the ocean and the popular sommarøya (summer island).

Sightseeing
If you have a rental car, this is the place you go to! Its a cafe/store laying in the beautiful Ersfjord. Fantastic atmosphere and an amazing view of Ersfjorden. Remember that it is closed every Sunday.

This is probably the most popular sightseeing spot in Tromsø. Its a cablecar up on a mountain, where you get a spectacular view of of Tromsø and the nature that surrounds it.
We recommend that you instead of taking the cablecar use one of the many trails that leads up to the mountain. Its a nice trip that won't take you more than an hour. That way you get both a great view and a great workout!
