When you think of "hole in the wall" places think of Cotton Bottom. There are two things on the menu 1) Garlic Burger 2) Garlic Burger with Cheese. One of the best burgers you'll ever eat!

If you love steeps Snowbird is your Mountain!
Skiers only (sorry boarders) but probably my favorite place to ski (with Snowbird a close second). This place has great beginner and intermediate terrain and unreal expert terrain.

A great all around resort with a terrain park second only to Park City. The glades here are phenomenal and there is terrain anyone can enjoy. Also has night skiing.

Never crowded, cheaper than other resorts and terrain that is way underrated! I am not sure why Solitude is so often overlooked but a great place to ski any time but especially around holidays.
