Want a great local burger... Honest Abe's is the place. They have a rotating menu some great alcoholic shakes. Named after Lincoln's namesake this is a great place for a burger... Definitely order the parmesan truffle fries.
There are four locations in town in case your travels take you around other parts of the city.

If you want a nicer coffee shop The Mill is the place to go. Cultiva is a dive. This is a top quality local favorite. Plus they also have a plethora of tea options.

This is a secret bar. It's like a classic speakeasy. Go into the courtyard East of Vincenzos restaurant. In the back of that courtyard on your right you will see a light and a doorbell. Ring the doorbell and they will let you in, although there is only space for 20 people in there so it might be full.

There are regular tours of the capital but even taking an hour to wander the halls is worth it. Make sure you get in the elevator and go to the observation deck for a view of the city!

The bike trail is only 1/2 block away. If you stand on the front porch and look to the left you will see a sidewalk leading directly to the trail. Enjoy a nice walk or bike ride.
