Unlike Bannack, Virginia City and Nevada City offer plenty of shopping and restaurants to go along with the history and sight seeing. Don't miss the Creamery and the old candy shop for awesome treats!

Maverick Mountain is one of those awesome Ma n' Pa type ski areas! Fun terrain and good snow too. A short drive from the cabins. Don't forget to soak at Elkhorn Hot Springs...located right near the mountain.

The "Beav" is a small tailwater loaded with trout. Plentiful hatches make it a destination for fly fisher-people from all over. 5 minutes from our cabins.

Up in the mountains you'll see out your front window are plenty of public access roads/lands. Explore the forests or fish/relax at Kelly Reservoir. Keep pushing up the jeep trail to get to less-visited Essler Reservoir.

Ride trails in the scenic Pioneer Mountains just north of Dillon in the Divide/Melrose area. These guys are personal friends and really great folks. They're also a fishing outfitter/fly shop and will get you well situated on the Big Hole River.
