Fascinating place where hundreds of tablets were discovered in an ancient well. These have letters from ordinary Roman folk that give accounts of everyday life in a far flung outpost of the Roman empire. There is a great museum on site and acres of roman archeology to explore

One of the region's most iconic landmarks, the Spanish City has recently undergone a major refurb. It hosts a variety of restaurants: an upscale steak and seafood restaurant "1910", "Valeries Tearoom", for well, tea and also scones, muffins and the brunchy food. "Trenchers" is for fish and chips, to eat in or take away. Another restaurant serves afternoon teas. There's even a champagne bar and a craft beer shop (take-out only) on the corner of the building.
