The newly renovated Big Bear Alpine zoo is a favorite place to visit for our kids. We usually go on Fridays to avoid the crowds. (Tip: if you have an LA Zoo membership, you get a discount for the entrance fee)

Dont forget to bring the Rainbow House "picnic gear" that we leave out in the back deck during the Spring to Fall months.
