Great water views on the Ashley River, splash pad open during warmer months, fantastic music events, historic homes and a great park/gathering pavilion. There is a brand new elevated walkway over Noisette Creek that Architectural Digest just mentioned in their list of Top 11 Elevated Walkways in the world! This is where Highwater Festival is held every April. You can walk to this (if you're up for it) and it's about 5 miles roundtrip.

Has become a tourist destination in recent years as people love the laid back vibe that the locals offer. Street parking is available but be sure to keep your tires completely off the asphalt as you will get ticketed if not completely on the sand. Get a chili cheese dog at Burts, visit my favorite Bowen's Island Seafood Restaurant for the best fried fish plant and out of this world views of sunset over the marsh. Folly also has a long walking pier where you can watch people fishing. The Tides offers oceanfront dining.
