A 4-5 minute drive away, but absolutely worth the short trip. Acadia Foods (formerly known as Washington Perk) serves breakfast, lunch, dinner and coffee and doubles as a local food store. Buy your groceries, have a sandwich, then walk down Acadia Street and see a show at Monstercade.

Salem Lake is a beautiful preserve located within our city limits. The Greenway (a trail connecting Salem Lake to our neighborhood) is close to access and boasts exquisite views for walking. Find access to the trail off Main Street (located to the right of the tennis courts across from Old Salem), a short 4-block walk from the bungalow down Poplar Street.
