A National Historic site, The Motherwell Homestead is a working restored farm. It is about 60 minute drive from Regina, but if you drive through Ft Qu'Appelle, to Katepwa, you can enjoy the scenic Qu'Appelle Valley. Great golf courses at Katepwa and Fort Qu'applle.

40 minutes north east of Regina. The town is in the beautiful Qu 'Appelle Valley. The chain of 'Calling Lakes" Pasqua, Echo, Mission, Katepwa, Round Lake. Echo lake and Katepwa have great public beaches. Nice little museum in Fort Qu'Appelle.

Wascana Park and Lake

At 2500 acres, Wascana Park is largest urban park in North America. Amazing jogging , walking, and biking area around Wascana Lake. The Saskatchewan Legislative building is the centrepiece of the park. You can rent a Kayak to paddle the lake. (No swimming allowed.)

Cathedral Area

Cathedral area is a great little area with independent shops, coffee houses and cafes. It is located in 13th Ave. Just off the main thoroughfare of Albert Street near the down down area.
