They don't take reservations, so I put my name on the wait list and have a glass of Lambrusco at Red Red Wine bar while I wait.

Middleton Tavern is one of my favorite spots in downtown Annapolis. The food is typical and traditional. Great service. Casual environment. There is a wonderful piano bar upstairs and music begins promptly at 9pm Thursday - Saturday. Arrive early to get a seat. This is a favorite spot for locals so it will get crowded. The piano singer is extremely talented and super fun!

Oddly, there are no fresh fish markets in Annapolis so Wholefoods is a great option. I recommend the fresh Tubot if they have it. White - not too flaky - not too fishy.

Simply a great place for enjoying a picnic, touch football and exploration. Very well maintained playgrounds for young kids. There is a lot of turtle spotting (very large and small) in the waters.
