Sightseeing
The banks of Loch Lomond are genuinely very bonnie and worth a visit. The loch is a few miles from us and there are multiple walks in the area, many with spectacular views. There are also boat trips from Tarbet, a very pretty loch side village at Luss and an aquarium at the southern tip of the loch.

The banks of Loch Lomond are genuinely very bonnie and worth a visit. The loch is a few miles from us and there are multiple walks in the area, many with spectacular views. There are also boat trips from Tarbet, a very pretty loch side village at Luss and an aquarium at the southern tip of the loch.
Very possibly Scotland's best castle and genuinely the seat of kings. There are amazing views, cannons, a superb great hall, a royal chapel, fascinating history and a really nice cafe/restaurant.

A wonderful place for a walk or to explore the country, although many of the tracks involve a good deal of up and down. Red squirrels steal the food from the bird feeders in the forest and there are great views south towards Glasgow. There is a very long zip slide (called Go Ape) and a good cafe/restaurant to relax in after your exertions. On a good day, there is outside seating with superb views.
