Rathtrevor Beach Provincial Park is a provincial park in Parksville, British Columbia, Canada. Buttertubs Marsh is a bird and wildlife sanctuary. There is a 2 km loop trail around the marsh and a few observation decks and a tower pefect for birdwatching. You'll find the Miner's Cottage at the main entrance to the park on 2nd Street. There is parking also availabe off of Buttertubs Drive.
As the area is a bird sanctuary, dogs are not permitted in Buttertubs Marsh.

It has beautiful oceanview homes, and you can drive to a tower at the top, where there is a gorgeous mountainside view atop a series of dangerous cliffs.
Be extremely careful, as the cliffs appear very suddenly, without warning, and the ground can be slippery - don't go exploring here in the dark!

A bandstand provides a place for local artists to entertain the crowd and several events are planned throughout the season for visitors to come and enjoy. We are open from the Mother's day through until the last Sunday in October.
