Take the Metro to the Smithsonian stop (Red Line towards Glenmont) and just cruise the city! There's a museum or monument for everyone to enjoy here.

Parks & Nature
There's a park entrance just 1.5 miles from the condo! Head left (down the hill) on Old Georgetown, take a left on Nebel and a right on Randolph. If you're walking, the park entrance is on the right, 1.5 miles from where you started. If you're driving, go past the park entrance (careful of a speed camera coming down the hill) and go right on Dewey. You'll parallel the park, and there are parking lots periodically.
There are a couple of playgrounds for the kids as you walk through the park within the first couple of miles, as well as tennis courts.
