Dinning out in Savusavu Town

Surf n Turf – BEST SEAFOOD: As you drive through town, Surf n Turf is located on the left side of the road, past Jack’s and across the street from Hussein’s Hardware. This is a lovely spot for lunch and dinner. It’s a relaxing place to sit, watch the boats, and enjoy a beautiful meal. (885 3033) Cousteau Resort – FANCY NIGHT: It is located about 2 km further down our road, away from town. They make a yummy dinner and swanky cocktails. Call ahead to make a reservation. (885 0694) The Planters Club – CASUAL LOCAL BAR: As you head into town, it is located on the right side of the road. This place has a lot of character and is definitely worth a visit, especially on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon (occasionally a band plays live music). Beers are plentiful and there’s a squash court located behind the club. Captain’s Table – SATISFYING FARE: Captain’s Table at the Savusavu Yacht Club is located on the water at the Copra Shed. This is a great place to watch the sunset and gaze out over the water. Live music on weekends! Wasawasa Lodge – SUNDAY BRUNCH: Overlooking the Blue Lagoon, Wasawasa is on the hill across from Savasi Island Resort. Drive towards the Savusavu Airport, pass the airport, and when you see Savasi on the right, take a left onto a dirt road next to the lily pond. Follow the road up the hill to the right. The staff is always smiling, the views are stunning and the brunch is typically a several hour affair Skipper’s @ Nawi Island - Savusavuks new bar at the newly opened Nawi Island Marina in Savusavu Bay. Take the water taxi from Wai Tui pier and explore the marina facilities and shops. It’s a five minute boat ride over.
