Great just for a drink, but lunch and dinner also available. Although night menu is a bit limited compared to lunch. It seems like a cosy little place when you walk in, but appearances can be deceptive, walk outside to a larger, garden area.

The Sydney Opera House is one of the most famous icons of Australia, possibly THE most famous.
Make sure you have a drink or a snack at the Opera Bar, which is outside the main Opera House building, down some escalators, and located beside the water.

Sightseeing
About a 10-15 minute walk from my place down to the end of Harris Street in Pyrmont and to the right along the foreshore is Pirrama Park. Keep walking and you will see the Sydney Harbour Bridge. A rare and uncrowded place to be near the harbour in Sydney.
It's also a great spot to view the New Year's Eve fireworks, unlike other overcrowded spots like Mrs Macquarie's Chair which you have to queue all day to get a seat on the ground at.

About a 10-15 minute walk from my place down to the end of Harris Street in Pyrmont and to the right along the foreshore is Pirrama Park. Keep walking and you will see the Sydney Harbour Bridge. A rare and uncrowded place to be near the harbour in Sydney.

SUPA IGA is the closest supermarket to my apartment, about 5 minutes walk. Open until 11pm daily. It is bigger than a "normal" IGA, but for a larger selection there is Coles in Pyrmont and at Broadway

Entertainment & Activities
At the big Broadway shopping mall is also a Hoyts cinema with multi screens. Showing the latest movies, and occasionally classics.

Getting Around
Wentworth Park Light Rail is located right behind my building. Catch Light Rail to Central, Star Casino, Darling Harbour.
You can walk to most places from my address or catch public transport.
The 389 Bus from Harris Street goes to North Bondi Beach via the CBD, and leaves every 10 minutes in peak times.
Also if you enjoy bicycle riding there are at least three companies with bikes located in my area that you access via an app. Priced around $1.99 per half hour.
There are also Hertz and Europecar car rental locations nearby. But I would not recommend hiring a car in Sydney unless you are planning on driving OUT of the city to go some distance.
