“Free entrance to see the koalas, with koala keeper’s presentation shows daily at 11 am and 2 pm (please check the show’s schedule beforehand). Make sure to bring water, your own picnic basket or have a BBQ in the park. Wear comfortable clothings and shoes, enjoy a bushwalk and spot some native animals.”

Park
“Thats why we are here: a huge park with lots of maintained paths for mountain bikes (you are welcome to use the bike I have and a helmet), hiking trails, family area with provided wood for the bbq and lots of wallabies around! By the way you may see koalas in a Daisy Hill Koala Centre right there for free.”

“Perfect place to have breakfast on the way to the coast from Brisbane. Coffee was great. Food was amazing and service was prompt. Very busy place. Good quality vs price. Parking is easy. ”

Bus Station
“15 minute walk from where you are staying. Go Cards are needed to travel on all public transport in South East Queensland. These can be purchased via the vending machine at the station. Cards are $10, which does not include the fare. When you're done, the card can be refunded, where your $10 will be returned (this can NOT be done at Springwood Bus Station)”

“Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. Coffee was great and food was amazing. Like their industrial/warehouse design with vintiage decoration. A bit pricy but still worth a visit if you are passionate about coffee and food or on the way to beach from Brisbane. The entrance of the cafe is tuck away from the main road. Cafe has its parking area but it may be hard to find one once it gets busy on weekend. ”

Park
“Springwood Conservation Park shelters 36 hectares of open eucalypt forest and is home to a variety of wildlife. You might catch a glimpse of koalas, water dragons, swamp wallabies and many species of birds. The terrain makes for interesting exploring, with large boulders, balancing rocks, caves, cliffs and a gorge. You can see geological strata and fossils exposed in the old quarry. In late winter and spring you'll see wildflowers in bloom – golden candle sticks, yellow bush pea, purple hovea and golden wattle. During the wetter months, look for seasonal waterfalls cascading down the gullies. Eucalypts dominate Springwood Conservation Park.”
