The space, 'Rooftops on Lyons', is located in one of Ballarat's grand old buildings and sits amongst the cathedrals and beautiful Victorian homes of central Ballarat. A 30 second walk, and one of the closest Airbnb listings to the city centre of Ballarat, this apartment has recently been totally stripped bare and everything re-built to create a funky, warm, affordable and fun getaway pad.
With copper pipes surrounding a claw foot bath tub in your bedroom, you wont have any difficulty unwinding whilst the rooftops of inner city Ballarat roll off into the distance outside your window. Reach out for the bubble bath and then climb into the queen size bed when you're done for a relaxing sleep. A heated tiled floor beneath the bath adds a little extra to your stay and takes the chill off on those colder nights.
Head down to the markets, or one of the many produce shops nearby, and cook yourself a feast on the contemporary concrete benches with the brand new appliances in the fully equipped kitchen. In the morning, crawl out of bed, slip on a bath robe and the Spanish 'Ascaso' coffee machine will be waiting for you with a fresh cuppa.
A hand made pressed tin sliding barn door, made of materials from a recently demolished 120 year old Carlton pub, separates the lounge from the bedroom and allows for privacy if required.
Indulge with luxury bathing soaps with the walk in shower and allow yourself to completely relax. A hair dryer, ironing board, iron and fresh towels are ready for your use during your stay.
