A large, bright room with a double bed (memory foam mattress topper), seating area with electric fire, 32'' LCD TV with both Netflix/Amazon Prime access and tea and coffee-making facilities. The room is situated in an old red sandstone house, built in 1894.
A large, comfortable room, guests in the past have enjoyed spending time here. The room is decorated in a vintage style with some heirloom furniture and pictures. We can add a fourth single bed to the room should you require it. There is a good-sized wardrobe and drawers for you to use during your visit - and an electric fire to keep you warm on colder nights. There is a kettle and tea / coffee / water set up for your arrival too, if you like any particular kinds of tea, let me know and we can make sure we have it for you.
Lovely neighbours, lots of green spaces nearby, great transport links and local shops / supermarket nearby with everything you need. There's also a local pub that serves reasonably priced food (two meals for £8) and has live music/sport etc. throughout the week.

It is a quiet residential area with great transport links to Livingston shopping centre, Edinburgh and Glasgow. There is a bus stop just outside the house with buses to Livingston shopping centre and Edinburgh. Livingston South train station is just 7 mins walk from the house and there are frequent trains to Edinburgh Waverley and Glasgow.
    Beautiful greenery, serene walks with great bike and walking trails set with access to a canal.

  • Tynah i Godwin mają najpiękniejszy dom i przebywanie tam przez cztery noce było absolutną przyjemnością. Jest to zajęty dom rodzinny, ale jest niezwykle spokojny i spokojny. Dzieci są wyjątkowo dobrze wychowane i miło było się z nimi spotkać i porozmawiać. Pokój jest lśniąco czysty, a łóżko jest niezwykle wygodne (12 godzin po prostu spać wygodnie). Duża sypialnia z dużym wygodnym łóżkiem, przylegająca do niej nowoczesna prywatna łazienka i ogromny salon z telewizorem, pałeczką amazońską, miejscem na śniadanie i śniadaniem ... znacznie przekraczającym oczekiwania. Przekonałem się, że mam wystarczająco dużo miejsca, aby być sam i zrelaksować się, jeśli chcę, ale ciepłą i integracyjną rodziną, jeśli czuję się towarzysko. Nie mogę polecić wystarczająco!

Well placed for Ochils, Trossachs, etc. Extensive shopping and leisure facilities can be found in neighbouring Dunfermline, together with bus and railway stations. The Forth and Kincardine bridges are both within easy reach making this area an ideal commuter base to most parts of central Scotland (1 hr to Glas & Edin).
    Our home is bright and airy with a modern, open-plan style. It’s quiet, end of cul de sac location makes it an ideal place for children to play outside safely. Also, the gardens are fully enclosed for additional security. The neighborhood is extremely peaceful, making this an ideal place for night shift workers to sleep by day! There is ample parking available. It's based in the heart of the beautiful Fife countryside, with endless, stunning walks for nature enthusiasts. Our home is a mile from a riding school and golf course. Also, only 5 miles from Knockhill Racing Circuit. The neighbouring town, Dunfermline is Scotland’s ancient capital and the former seat of King Robert The Bruce. The modern capital, Edinburgh, plus Glasgow and Dundee, are all less than an hour's drive away; and Stirling and Perth are around 30 minutes away. Wherever your drive to, from Saline, the journies are entertaining in themselves, thanks to the incredible scenery we're blessed with! Whatever you chose to do whilst staying in our home, whether it be your base to explore the local countryside or venture into the major cities, it’s a quiet, tranquil, country haven to refresh and catch your breath.
    Saline is a small, historical, weaving village with bags of character, at the foot of an ancient volcano called Saline Hill. We have many quaint little cottages, a vibrant family church, and even the remains of a Roman fort on the Hill. Everyone is Saline is friendly and would go out their way to help you. You’ll feel very welcome in Saline. Our street is particularly quiet, and we have a wonderful view of the hill from our living room window.

Dom był w nieskazitelnym stanie, a Gary poszedł o krok dalej, gromadząc dla nas małe smakołyki, ponieważ byliśmy pierwszymi gośćmi, którzy tam mieszkali, dzięki czemu nasz pobyt był wyjątkowy!     Westbourne House self-catering villa is a beautiful early Victorian mill owner's house set on its own lovely grounds with private parking for up to 6 cars. You can find a key by arrangement or we can check you in. Our large country kitchen overlooks the extensive garden and will comfortably seat 8-10 guests. Children can have their own AMAZING dining experience in our grand hall which again will seat up to 8... Gourmet Italian restaurant nearby offers 5* Food for delivery at amazing low price. A large selection of cereals are provided along with bacon eggs milk bread butter and jams. Tea, coffee in abundance and a well stocked larder of all the usual household spices All five bedrooms are individually decorated and each has its own TV/wifi and private bathroom. We have four double beds (one downstairs) and six singles. Our home retains all its original features with high ceilings, winding staircase and truly stunning Victorian architecture. Our sitting room has a 55" TV with a good selection of DVDs. There is a library upstairs with an enormous selection of books to be enjoyed in front of our log-burning stove. We also have a good selection of board games. Five minutes walk to an excellent bistro, or if you prefer to prepare a meal in our well-stocked kitchen, the supermarket is only a two minute walk. Tesco, Aldi Lidl and Morrisons are a five minute drive (many guests have had deliveries from Tesco). Sterling Mills shopping outlet is a 2 minute walk of if you are feeling more adventurous why not hike to Castle Campbell in Dollar which is a 5 minute drive or leisurely walk . We are very centrally located within "The Heart of Scotland" offering easy access to Edinburgh, Glasgow, Loch Lomond and the Trossachs. Early check-in available by arrangement.

    With iconic views of the Forth crossings, this lower villa is located only 20 minutes from Scotland's Capital. With direct bus routes just a stones throw away and the train station only a 20 minute walk, Edinburgh City Centre and Airport are easily accessible. South Queensferry High Street is only a 5 minute walk away which provides a plethora of coffee and food establishments along with views of the bridges. Solo adventurers and couples welcome!
    Walk through the town or visit one of the cafés and restaurants which line the main street to admire the Forth Bridges that cross over to Fife. The Forth Bridge, a railway bridge which was completed over 125 years ago, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a spectacular feat in engineering. The neighbouring Forth Road Bridge opened in 1964, and Queensferry Crossing, to the west of South Queensferry, is a new road bridge set to open at the end of 2017. You can learn about the history of the village, and the building of the bridges at Queensferry Museum. South Queensferry was once the main point to board ferries over to Fife and is still a port today, although the boats are now destined for the islands of the Forth. Take a boat tour to travel under the Forth Bridge and explore the wildlife and history of the islands. You can even land on Inchcolm, which is home to both a 12th century abbey and the fascinating remnants of Second World War defences. Dalmeny House and Hopetoun House are two fine stately homes located on the outskirts of South Queensferry, and both are excellent attractions which boast lovely grounds, impressive architecture and historic artefacts. The town is also a great place to start a coastal walk by joining the John Muir Way and following it through Dalmeny Estate and towards Cramond village.

    Built around 1900 it's a great house for family and group get togethers and is within Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park. Glasgow, Stirling and Edinburgh are within easy reaching distance. The house has recently been refurbished (July 2019) to a high standard and has 5 luxury bedrooms - one ground floor Super king with wheelchair accessible ensuite wet room, two King size - one with ensuite, one Double with ensuite and one with bunk beds. There is also a family bathroom and separate shower room. The large lounge has a solid oak floor, a stove and a 50" Smart TV. The dining kitchen which comfortably seats 10 has a solid oak floor and modern appliances. There is a good sized deck with barbecue overlooking the private garden. There are several restaurants and pubs in the village including Scotland's oldest - The Clachan (1634) - Billy Connolly's old local! Shops, coffee shops, a pharmacy and handy local store all within a few metres. There is a huge variety of outdoor activities including golfing at the Championship course at Loch Lomond, Buchanan Castle and Strathendrick right on your doorstep. There's fishing, horse-riding, cycle paths, forest trails, tree top adventure, bike and canoe hire - the list is endless. Loch Lomond is the largest Loch in Britain by surface area and one of the best areas to try water sport activities including jet skiing, wake boarding, paddle boarding, water skiing and kayaking. The Loch has a number of islands which can be explored thanks to dedicated cruises as well as the Loch Lomond Ferry Services, or you can hire a boat and explore yourself. The view from the Conic Hill over the Loch has been rated in the Top Ten Views in Britain by the Daily Telegraph. The nearby Oak Tree Inn at Balmaha is a busy bar restaurant and also has a coffee shop and ice cream parlour. Stirling is only 35 mins drive, Glasgow 40 mins and Edinburgh just over an hour depending on traffic.

From it, countryside and city are easy to reach, Central Scotland you could say is on the doorstep. Enjoy cycling or walking on the Fife Coastal Path which passes immediately by or visit any of the many historic houses and places that are within easy reach. Edinburgh is near , only about is about 23 miles by road.
    A special place for a holiday for two people. January House in Culross is situated in a most desirable location in this historic town. An imposing 19th century house, built in 1805 and retaining the ambiance of that era, it offers guests the comforts expected of 21st century living. In close proximity to Culross Palace, it enjoys interesting views over the central features of the picturesque town. The view from the side overlooks the Firth of Forth, on which large and small vessels making passage can be watched. Upstairs the combined sitting / dining / kitchen area is provided with all of the features needed for an enjoyable stay. Upstairs there is also a separate TV / Reading Room and a family bathroom (bath,shower & toilet). The well appointed large bedroom with en-suite (shower & toilet) is situated downstairs. It can be offered with a King Sized double bed or alternatively with two single beds.
    January house built in 1805 sits in a prominent position in Culross which is said to be the most complete example of a Royal Burgh of the 17th and 18th centuries in Scotland. To the front it looks out on to the Town House which was built in the 1600's and to the side sits Culross Palace built about the same period in time. It has a lovely open aspect with great views over the Firth of Forth and ships making passage can be watched from the windows. The Fife Coastal Path pass nearby.
