“walk along the Thames river, check out the ferries heading to Long Island, watch the trains go by or watch a submarine go past. You can fish off the piers, feed the sea gulls or just sit and watch the world go by. In the summer there is a festival just about every weekend - all free!”

“There are two parts to the Connecticut College Arboretum: the Williams Street entrance leads to beautiful, sculpted trails with labeled trees and plants. The lower Arbo (entrance by the Conn College Athletic Center) is more wild with longer trails that go out to Mamakoke Island Conservation Area. We highly recommend both.”
